Trà Xanh Hồ Nam Kim Tự Tháp Lụa

I was a bit worried about trying a pyramid-shaped tea bag, but these brew up beautifully and the loose leaf from Hunan really comes through smooth and clean. The shape lets the leaves expand properly, so each cup tastes fresh without any bitterness. I've already reordered twice this month.

The tea leaves inside these pyramids are so fine and silky that the liquor turns a gorgeous, pale gold in under two minutes. Each cup has that fresh, slightly sweet Hunan character that makes me want to keep going back to the kettle.

I’ve been brewing these pyramids for a couple weeks now, and the loose leaf from Hunan gives a steady, calming cup that keeps its character even on a second steep. The shape of the pyramid bag lets the leaves unfurl nicely, which I didn’t expect from a teabag.
