Dieser Oolong-Tee wird in der Provinz Fujian in China hergestellt und ist auch als Tieguanyin oder „Eiserne Göttin“ bekannt.

Oolong-Tee ist ein teiloxidierter Tee. Die Teeblätter werden nicht so lange mit Sauerstoff in Kontakt gelassen wie bei der Herstellung von Schwarztee. Die Zeit des Welkens und Rollens der Blätter ist kürzer, was zu einem Tee mit einem leichten, aber vollmundigen Geschmack führt.
