I was a bit worried the thyme would overpower the tea, but it's actually this perfect sweet-and-earthy balance that makes it feel like a cozy afternoon ritual. The leaves are prime-season quality, and the aroma alone is worth it.
The thyme really comes through in the scent before you even pour it, and it gives the black tea a sweet, earthy finish that lasts. I've been brewing it every afternoon since the bag arrived, and the leaves hold up nicely for a second steep too.
This brew pours a deep amber with that sweet, earthy thyme flavor woven right through, not just a hint. It’s become my afternoon ritual, and the tea leaves stay robust for a second steep, which feels like a bonus.
